In my company, we have to wear uniform at office, my uniform is a short blue shirt.
I love the color better, but the cloth is not very well.
It's really boring to wear the same style clothes for 5 days a week.
How about you? guys. Do you have to wear uniform at office?

Yes, it is. I don't like wearing uniform a little, but I have to.
Rteja, are you study in university? I mean a lot of school don't request of this.
But it's needed in senior high school.
I don't have to wear uniform in my university time, my school didn't request of that.

I work with our SWAT unit as a medic. I have to wear my uniform usually when we have operations since it keeps me safe or somewhat protects me. It basically a black cover all plus a bullet proof upper vest and kevlar helmet. It is quite heavy but have to bear with it considering the nature of my work. I am satisfied though there are times that I feel uncomfortable.

We don't really have a uniform at work...were just told to wear corporate clothes. Its really nice, cause like you said...if there's a uniform then it gets kinda boring cause you wear the same thing. But in our case we get to wear whatever, as long as its allowed in the dress code.

Hi there. The company I currently work for does not have its employees wear uniforms but there is a prescribed dress code that we have to adhere to. Women are supposed to wear suits/blazers with dressy tops from Monday to Thursday. However, we're allowed to go without the blazers on Fridays in a, what they call, business casual attire. I don't really have much problems with the dress code, though, being the casual person that I am, I try to stretch it to the limits.
Anyway, I think there are advantages of having your Company prescribe you a uniform - like not having to think about what to wear to work everyday - but I guess it does get quite boring wearing the same thing for five days in a row.

I agree with you on that - it DOES get boring wearing the same thing over and over again. The company I work for allows us to wear either a company-provided smock, sweater, or polo shirt, and black or neutral-colored dress pants. It's boring, but I try to switch it up by wearing the polo one day, the smock the next, and so on. It gets boring, sure, but we can still find ways to add originality to our uniforms if we try hard enough.
Good discussion!
