Hi Paru,
There are few things which can't be taught. There are so many people who claim that they teach how to write. I only would suggest you to read good writers and notice what outstanding they did. All good writers read. This is the fact..

Becoming a writer is easy as long as you have something to share. But to be able to say something, you should read a lot and do your research to write about a topic clearly. Getting your point across is the core of writing.
The best tip I can give is write the way you speak. You can improve over time. Just keep on writing. To be able to write is one thing; to write effectively is another. Read this article about effective writing:

Hi, parumalu.
Joining an online writing community can help boost your confidence as a writer.
Check out http://www.onestopwriteshop.com
It's a wonderful community for writers. You get to post your work and members will critique and give you feedback on what to improve on your writing if there is a need. There is free membership and paid memberships. There are also forums, sometimes contests that you can join. Please do check it out. It's a great site. I hope to see you there!

I have lots of advice, but most of it only works for me.
The best is probably the most basic: read a lot, write whenever you feel like it and - if you can - find someone to correct it for you so that it gets better. My main blog is about writing, if you want to drop in (in profile). Funnily enough, one of my most recent posts was "Writers' Advice Sucks".

You should check out Writer's Digest. It is full of all sorts of information for anyone who wants to become a writer.
Strunk and White's Elements of Style can help you with writing well but the best thing is just to do a lot of reading and develop a grasp for language and usage.
