when people laugh at you, do you check your clothing ?

You are walking on the streets or playing an outdoor game and some strangers start laughing at you in groups. Do you feel shy at that moment?? Does the thought come to your mind about "why are they laughing at me??"
Whenever people laugh at me, i feel a bit embarrassed.. the next thing or the only thing that comes to my mind is to check my clothing if it is torn or my pants are not zipped or something like that. I always feel like going and asking them, but then this thought comes to my mind. Why should i care about them? Let them have a good laugh,it improves their health, why should i be a hindrance?
How do you react in such situations?? any personal experiences..

hello rakesh. if i'm in such a situation i will defenitly check my clothing. i check if something's wrong somewhere like top unhooked, pants unzipped, stains on cloth , if it accidentally got torn and also i check it if i'm wearing it inside out ( i once wore my top inside out 
) . i will also check if anything has gone wrong with my make up .
