It was writing an article. But mind you, they were asking me to write 500 articles and they would pay $450.00. The condition was 10 articles daily, It will be any topic i want to write regarding only on "How to".... and then there are 4 steps in that article.
Each Step would consist of 4 sentences, unique and not even one sentence copied or plagiarized to any website since they have a system that would detect it. I was thinking if i would accept the job amounting to $1.1 per article.
Since i still asked them what will be their mode of payment and i am still in review if i should accept their task since i doubt myself of creating 10 articles daily. How about you? would you like to take part of the project. I am still confuse if i will take it or not. Give some suggestions here please, specially if you are a writer, or already writing a blog.

Hi,
It seems like a lot of money on the outset, but when you factor in the amount of articles you're being asked to write, I'd stay away from this one. It's not worth it. Your time and energy is worth a lot more than that.
You're essentially being asked to write 4 paragraphs consisting of approx 100 words each. That's a 400-word article for $1.1. And you have to do that 10 times over - everyday?
There are lots of companies and indivduals that pay a lot more than that. Search the following places for writing jobs:
- freelancewritinggigs.com
- ravens-writing.blogspot.com
- jobs.problogger.com
- allfreelancewritingjobs.com
- bloggerjobs.biz
It's ultimately down to you whether you take the job or not, but don't do it to yourself, hun. You're worth more.
take care...

Well, as the more prudent posters have stated, accepting such an assignment would be foolish and pointless. Also, take in to account, that EHow probably expects their submissions to be written at a level that exceeds an elementary classroom. They probably expect complete sentences, no typos, engaging topics that people care about, etc etc.
Just a thought.

In theory it sounds as an easy job but if you think a bit more about it you can finf a lot of problems and the payment (the looks interestint in total) is very poor for a single article.
Obviously is not easy suggest if you have to try or not. the first questions is: are you sure that they pays you at the end of the job? It can be a stupid question but it's important.
Second question is: have you enough time to do that? Probably you can but you have to be sure to have time every day (or at least few days per week). Third question: writing article is something that you are used to do regularly? If it's something that you do usually can be more easy, if not it can be an enormous problem.
Good luck!

I think thats too much for little money thats why they tried to offer you that kind of amount. I wouldn't accept that kind of offer, or if you can try to demand a higher pay maybe that will work. Writing articles is not that easy, I have turned down some offers to me which offered me low pay rates like that. There are other sites that pay more than that and you don't need to exhaust your effort and creativity for submitting loads of articles. Be wise enough.

hey! isn't the pay very less for the amount of work that you do? Article writing is not very easy as it is made out to be, especially when you have to churn out original stuff. even if it is re-worked or re-worded, it takes time and is quite stressful when there is a deadline to meet.
i would suggest that you rethink on the project, unless you are in desperate need of the $450. i do freelance writing and have come across such projects. i did accept one such similar project early in my writing career, but found it very stressful. anyway, good luck.

That is such a heavy load. It has been awhile. Did you make a decision about it yet?

if they are honest and really paying then why not. that is one big amount. i think that you are good in writing to be offered that rate. if i am good in writing i will surely grab that opportunity. but make sure that they are really paying cause it is that easy to create an article and put to much time into writing. but 6 sentences is not that much or too many work to put into. i think that you can do that easily specially you can choose whatever topic that you wanted to write about.

You are not beig offerred even one dollar per article. Ten articles a day is quite a bit. I have days where I can easily write that much and days where there is absolutely no way I could do it. If you have any doubt at all, don't do it because if you miss the deadline, it could hurt your reputation. I don't think that pay offer is all that great either. You are being offerred 90 cents per article.
I have written many articles and they are published mainly on Associated Content. I do not have a blog. I think that you should procede with great caution on this one.

I think that's okey if you think you can make it. The only problem I see is the pressure, you can no longer do things other than that. It's alright, however anyway you'll be earning. Try to annalyze it with yourself, does in other sites will give you an about 10 dollars a day without pressures? Or will you earn 10 dollars a day in other sites in writing less than 10 articles? You may earn at other sites more than 10 dollars for only one article but it may not be daily so you won't come up with 450 dollars in 50 days. The advantage of this is you have a sure earnings for less than two months. For me, If am sure I can make it, I will take this as this is a single transaction that would give me earnings in less than 2 months. If you think, however, that you can earn this amount in other sites in less than 50 days and in less than 500 articles then you may not accept this.

Very difficult decision. If you necessarily need the money, I would say go for it. 10 articles a day is not that much, if you spend two hours a day, I'm sure you will finish them. What I suggest is that you do five articles, then take a small break of about 15-20 minutes and do another five. Good luck !

hi strawberrychocodahi
my suggestion,
If you think you can do it, then do it.
If you think you can't do it then don't
All things in this world work by trust if they trust you and you can't finished the job it will lead to reputation destruction.
for me writing 10 articles a day would take more time than I can spare.

It sounds like they're looking for you to write articles for them to put on eHow.com and make more money off of. I wouldn't do it because you could make more money writing for this site yourself than you would doing it for someone else.

Accept it if you could not find any other good alternative. I suggest you go for one month and if you survived the job...find other writing offers somewhere.
Right now, if you have the talent and time for article writing/rewriting, it is now very much easy to earn money with that through article/affiliate marketing.
Good luck!

I wouldn't take it. Sounds like the $450.00 is supposed to sound like a great amount, but when you break it down (as shown above) you're getting screwed. 10 articles a day on "How to", I think that would be hard to do. I think you can creatively bankrupt yourself and if you don't product the 10 a day, then you are the one falting the terms.
I think it's too much for too little.

The ball was in your court. And you knew how much you could bear. So after you got the assignment you were the nest person to valuate the whole phenomenon. We are the outsiders and can only gauge into what is presented.
