I always have a Microsoft office open when in mylot. Sometimes when they can't in find the word that I am looking for in microsoft word, I just google it. I also use a conventional thesaurus and dictionary but not as much. How about you? What do you use?

Yes, firefox has that feature. It tells you if whenever you misspelled a word. What browser are you using? Internet Explorer?

Yes. I am using a older version of internet explorer. I'll try to install firefox though to check out the differences. Thanks for the response

I also use Microsoft Office but not as often as needed. I try to use my best judgement when checking my grammar so as to enhance my english. But when I really need it, I check my sentences using Microsoft Office.

Morning, friend. I don't use anything to check my grammar when I type. I just type it the way I use. But I like to Mozilla Firefox a lot to get my spelling checked. You know, there is a spell checker in Firefox. When a word is spelled incorrectly, you will see a red line beneath the word. That is why I love to use Firefox so much. Take care.

The good thing is that most myLotters are more on the content of our posts rather than on grammar and spelling. As long as we have something worth sharing and can get our points across, that's enough. But in consideration of others, I also check my grammar and spelling from time to time. My grammar and spelling mistakes may cause confusion to some thus I also have to consult my dictionary and thesaurus if I am not sure of what I am writing. Microsoft word and search engines are also helpful but I don't use them if I have lots of windows open in my PC.

I'm using my phone when posting here, no application to use to check my grammar so, I use the predictive text input and dictionary...

I usually don't check my grammar and spelling when posting response in myLot. But I think it would be better if checking would be there for the reader to understand your thoughts or point of view and its all up to the person if it has too :)

I am not really that conscious when it comes to typing comments in mylot. I just type in whatever comes into my mind. As long as I get my point across, I don't think people here in mylot are very particular about how you composed the sentence. A lot of mylotters are not fluent in English either, they even say that they use mylot to practice english so I do not feel the need to have a perfectly composed paragraph

I don't actually mind if my grammar goes incorrect. It's funny how we Filipinos tend to look after one's grammar which the English men and Americans are not really fond of doing. If I do make a mistake, I still stand proud of that. If I won't make mistakes in grammar, I would be a perfect person. (LOL!)

I just reread and reread most of my replies but sometimes I forget and hit the post response button at once. I just type what comes to mind ...
