Can driving schools really teach you to drive?

Well when I took drive lessons from a driving school, they showed me how to drive, sure, but gave me some tips in about how to react in some situations. It has been about 3 years and I still remember some of them.

Yes, driving school would teaches you all that you need to know before you can comfortably drive the machine all by yourself. Thats all the driving school/instructors can do for you. Other than that, experiences are important in driving cars and this are gained as time goes by. It is recommended that you enrol in driving school as I think their training is most comprehensive compare to private instructor.

I don think so, they just teach me how to pass it, i learn to drive myself...

Driving schools can teach you the basics, but to really learn you have to practice with someone you trust like your mother or father

i think it is actually up to the student if he/she is a fast learner or not

What i suggest is take someone who knows how to drive with you and just get out and practise that is the only way to learn

I think they can assist and help you, you have to want to drive and you also have to want to learn how to drive, it's really not that difficuly at all.

No driving schools are not of much help you can learn more easily if someone from your family is there to guide you, and on it practice a lot.

I keep having people tell me to go to driving school too but I'm not so sure about it. I think the best way to learn is to have someone who is confident and patient, take you out and show you how. If you don't remember anything from the driving school, you may not remember it if you went a second time. If you do want to go back, that is up to you. Good luck.

No because if you lack confidence then you wont be able to drive by yourself no matter how much or how many hours you spent with the driving school.

I know what you mean... I guess they teach us but we soon forget all about it.

No it depends on you they just tell you how to drive in normal situations they never tell you how to drive in storm and in hurry or in amergency
