My Grandson is getting married for the second time today and we have not received even an announcement. I am not sure how to handle this, do we send a card and some money? Do we just ignore it? I don't know if he is ashamed of her or us? We are somewhat hurt by not being included in this family celebration and I don't know if was just an oversight or if he really didn't want us to know. What would you do?

Hi pat~ I would not jump to any conclusions yet. I would speak
to other family members first and see what they say. Maybe
he wants to keep it kind of quiet since this is his second
marriage. I would speak to the mother or father who is your
son or daughter first kind of quietly and see what they say.
Sometimes a second marriage is awkward as you can understand.
I'm sure that they are not ashamed of you so get that thought
out of your head! Just inquire quietly and see what you come
up with!
