Does anyone have experience with Greenfield Online? What are your thoughts?

I visit dollarsurveys.net most days, and I noticed that I often get directed to take surveys through Greenfield Online. I thought that I might earn more if I was to cut out the middleman. What has your experience with Greenfield Online been like? Do they pay out using PayPal? GO doesn't get a very good rating on the Survey Police website:

Are those comments representative and warranted?

Greenfield online is a paying site that does pay through paypal. That was one of my first survey sites I joined a couple of years back when I first started making money online. I have been payed a couple of times but to be honest I don't have the time to fill out a survey for 30 minutes just to be only payed 1.00 or not even that, but be entered into a sweepstakes. If you're a person who has that kind of time and even the patience it's okay I guess. It's not a bad site though, at times they will pay you a good amount if you're selected to do a certain type of survey. For example, when I first joined I was qualified to do a survey about banks. It took almost 2 hours but I was payed 60.00. I don't spend my time on that site too much anymore though. I stick to the survey sites that pay a little higher for surveys and the surveys aren't too long. I have some sites on my website if you're ever interested. Good luck:)

Actually the pay always varies. It could be from 1.00, 2, 3 and up, but most that I get in my e-mail to do are usually ranging from 1-5.00. But like I mentioned, sometimes, in my opinion, those surveys are not worth it but every one has their own opinions about making a dollar here online. I just feel like there are some other sites that will pay much higher for surveys and take less of your time.

Okay. I understand now. I also aim to find those survey sites which compensate fairly while not taking up too much of your time. I belong to some good ones that offer the same amount of money per survey, and the length of the surveys is the same every time. I am a panel member with some survey/marketing panels that have varying pay schedules and their surveys are short in length. Nothing is more annoying then accepting to do a survey when you're told it will take fifteen minutes and it takes thirty-five or when you are told that you don't qualify after twenty minutes and you aren't compensated for your time.

Well, this is good to know. So Greenfield Online usually only pays $1 for surveys??? I don't mind taking short surveys for $1, but that isn't very much for 30 minute surveys. I'd do a 2 hour survey for $60 if I was guaranteed to get the cash. I would hate to do 50 minutes worth only to be told "Sorry, but you didn't qualify". If they usually only give $1 per survey, then I guess that it isn't all that surprising that dollarsurveys.net often directs you to them. I'll check out your profile. Thanks for responding.

I have been a member of Greenfield for a couple of years. They are legit, although there are many surveys I don't qualify for. I usually skip the ones that offer an entrance in their sweepstakes. Sometimes they can be pretty long. If you can manage to qualify and have a bit of patience, they will pay. Good luck to you!

These are some very helpful comments. Sometimes knowing what to avoid is just as important as knowing what is worthwhile. Time saving tips can be invaluable. Especially for those people who are constantly facing a time crunch. I only like to do surveys that offer cash or certain store gift certificates for completion. Thank you very much for your response.

I have seen Greenfield as well and I understand cutting out the middle man. I realize that this happens so many times online and I feel a lot of people are unaware of this too. I am only signed up with two survey companies and I intend to keep it that way. I like to take surveys but it does take up a lot of time as well so I try to work more on my freelancing and mylot and other things that I do online.
If you can signup for Greenfield directly than I say go for it. Why do the surveys from the other site and make less than they are actually paying for the survey. I hope this helps and happy mylotting to you.

I appreciate your comments momtrying2makeit. I am a member on several survey/marketing panels. My experience shows that the good survey companies don't send tons of surveys out all the time. The good ones also pay a fair amount and don't require excessive lengths of time to complete their surveys. I understand the desire not to be bogged down by all the work. I only tolerate participating in a few surveys on occasion. I usually only complete 1 or 2 of the DollarSurvey ones a week when I have the time. Cheers.

If it is regarding online money making then don't belive on this type of sites because these sites just kill your time and give nothing in return

On the contrary, there are some very good survey/marketing panels that actually do payout and don't require too much time. Many of them even payout to your paypal account. Some mail out checks. I have been paid by dollarsurveys.net many times and you can check out my profile for proof. I have no experience with Greenfield Online directly, and I make no assurances in regards to that company.
I have heard that Greenfield Online was purchased by Microsoft. Can anyone confirm this?
