the babies bottle. We went out and I had everything binky, diapers, change of clothing, lotion, etc all in the baby bag. And we left the house. Low and behold an hour later he starts to fuss and that is when I realize what I didn't have! Ever forgotten a very important item that you needed? How did you cope?

I can relate to this. I think bottles are the most crucial because you can't just buy it from the store and let your baby use it without getting it sanitized first. It's so difficult because moms like us are always in charge of these things -- getting baby bathed, dressed up, packing their stuff, packing OUR stuff, etc. After always forgetting one or two items, I made a checklist of everything I had to bring. We aren't perfect, after all.

How would I cope, well I would head to the nearest place I could that sold bottles. This has happened in my family before. that is what we did. Also sometimes in a hurry things get forgotten. even shoes..we were headed for town my sister been outside playing we tell her to come on we going to town, what we didn't realize was she took her shoes off while out playing and when we got to town we ended up having to by her a pair of flip flops so she could go into the stores. Don't beat yourself up over it. I bet it has happened to more people then they want to admit or remember.

I took my toddler son out with his bottle but I forgot the container of soya drink powder. I gave him the water as a drink and bought from a health food shop a soya desert. I didn't have a spoon to I went to a fish and chip shop and got a fork. That worked instead of a spoon.

Hello ersmommy. I am so sorry to know that you forgot one of the most important things--baby bottle. By the way, have you ever thought of using a small bowl or cup together with a tiny baby spoon to feed the baby milk or water if you happen to be at one of your friends' or relatives' house? It can be helpful to you. Take care. Happy parenting, my dear friend.

Well now that my boys are getting older, it's common for me to forget things like that for them. Most of the time I don't even remember to bring the diaper bag. If I do bring the diaper bag, then I've probably forgotten a cup of milk for the youngest. It's actually rather unusual that I do have everything that I'll need.
