I am a contend producer for ac, I wrote an article on conflicker before april 1 warning of what was then thought to be a major worm.
I got almost 21,000 page views, I am completely floored, I never that that would be possible for only having the article up for a few days.
for you content producers out there in ac or a site that is similar have you ever been floored by the amount of page views you got for a certain article you wrote?
for people that don't write, I am not leaving you out, have you ever been amazed that you did something and it was so well received, please tell us what it was and why you were so surprised.

Well, it wasn't on AC it was on Ehow. I had just recently written an article about metabolism and published it. From the last time I checked at around 3a. until the following day at 3p. I had 160,000 hits! It was astounging. I thought they had made a mistake and I even remember writing them an email to that effect. I recieved nearly $500 for it. Amazing to this day.

absolutely amazing, I wanted to try ehow but they don't pay Canadians, only americans. That is absolutely wonderful, good for you my friend, absolutely amazing.

wow that was really so wonderful to hear. what is your article all about . i think it is not easy to write here if you don't have good grammar. i am still far from having a perfect grammar. hopefully it will be soon that i can write here and in other sites as well.

it was about conflicker before April lst came around. I don't have perfect grammar either and I am dyslexic but with practice and time you will get better.

That is simply wonderful. Congrats to you =). About 3 or 4 years ago, I was writing my term paper (I believe it was for a Public Relations class) about the NHL vs. The Collective Bargaining Agreement. I was working so hard on the term paper. About a month before it due, I turned it in. I thought, I did an ok job on the paper. Nothing too special though. Anyways, I get the term paper back and out of 500 points, I received a 495. I couldn't believe it. My professor was very impressed with my research and she shared my paper for the rest of the class. To this day, I still have that term paper that I wrote =).

Well there were a lot of rumors about viruses attack on april 1st and I think you had made a nice article on it and people were looking for the new virus.

Actually I didn't think that I would be well received at Mylot because I had always thought(because I mostly been told) that I was stupid, dumb and never knew what I was talking about half the time, even though I made good grades in school. My 9th grade is my favorite since that year I made the most A's I'd ever made. So when people accepted me and even though my opinions and advice was worth something I was surprised and it kinda gave me a good kick to my self-esteem.

I seem to have had a lot of page views on a few of my articles in AC, but never quite as many as you had on Conflicker. I guess people like to be made aware of viruses such as this and you did well to write it. Well done, my friend!!
