One day, if you see an occurring of a car accident on the road side, what would you do? Would you voluntarily get out and help the victims out, such as call ambulance or emergency service. Or you just thought to yourself, it wasn't your business, you better drive along? What you gonna be?

Yes I would. I am a paramedic by profession and has worked with the ambulance service for about 13 years. It is hard to keep it out of your system even when you are not working with the unit already. The last time I stopped to help someone was a shooting incident. That was just about a month ago. I was together with my wife on our way home and along the way, we saw three guys along the road bleeding. There were actually shot at while riding a motorcycle by unknown shooters. It was 10pm and there were bystanders in the area but nobody dared to help. I stopped the car and got out together with my wife, we help the victims. Two of them were still breathing all with gunshot wounds. My wife happens to be a nurse so she also knows how to care. I have in my car a first aid kit always, so we used it to treat the victims. The third guy we never bother to help anymore, he had no signs of life. He had 3 gunshot wounds on the head. I was also the one who called up the ambulance and they were able to transport the victim to the hospital.

Well if there is an accident and I am there surely I would love to help the person or persons but I would have not to be too tight scheduled that I might miss my important interview where my future life depends.
I would do if necessary and deploying somebody would run towards my destination. And in case there is none and without my assistance I would have to forgo my appointment. But I can not let the person lie there without any assistance whatsoever.

I would stop and at least call an ambulance if one was needed. I wouldn't just ignore it because it would be on my conscience that I could have done something and failed to do it. I would hope that someone would do the same thing for me.

Due to my husband being a paramedic even if we were driving by we would stop and help out. He could not just drive by without stopping and making sure everyone was ok

I would have to stop and do what I could because I wouldn't be able to live with myself if I were so cold hearted as to not offer assistance to someone who needed help. We all need to look out for one another...one day it could be you on the side of the road, hurt and in need of help.

Yes, I can help because I think may be some day I am also at the same stage. Accident are accidents and anybody can face this sitiuation. So be serious about this issue. You must have to help others. It is the only way of making good environment surrounding you.
