studying with music

I think it is a good idea.I love music and I often listen to english songs because i am studying English.I never studied japanese before,but my roommate told me that she studied japanese and had two pen pals when she was in junior high school.She also loved to learn Japanese by listening Japanese songs.I think maybe you can make some Japanese friends to improve your Japanese.

I think this is a good idea and I'm glad it's working out for you. To be honest, I had the same idea when I was studying French actively, but it didn't really work out for me -- I found it very hard to make sense of what the singers were saying...it was even harder than listening to spoken dialogue. I did, however, discover some interesting music I'd never encountered before so it was still worthwhile. I also think this method would have worked better if I had been more advanced in my studies at the time...of course as a beginning and intermediate student there's so much vocabulary you've never encountered before so the language you are learning can often sound like gibberish. To be sure, if I start studying a foreign language again (and I plan to) I'll go back to this method, if for no other reason than because I love music so much!

I think you discover new way of learning new language. It is great. learning with enjoying is always very good think. Be keep on this habit

I think there are many ways to learn and some people study while listening to music and some while walking. I think learning a language listening to the music in a language which you are learning is a great way because if you start liking the music, you will obviously love to learn the language. I never tried this but sure will do :)
