I am still hoping to see better candidates, but I might go for a good businessman. For now, Manny Villar is the one closest to my heart. Everybody knows he started from scratch, and he grew up in Tondo, Manila. As I understood clearly, he even finished elementary in a public school. Therefore, he knows how the word poor means.
Unknown to some, he is a good real estate investor. He was able to project the future that a certain piece of land can make good money someday. I think this is what the our country needs.
In addition, he has a clean image. He rarely reacts on issues concerning his critics. He even lead the congress to oust Erap, which means he is a man of principle.
I read in a business magazine some years ago on how to grew his empire of business. He has this passion for investment, and not only working for today's needs. There is one line that he said something that goes like...if you want to be successful in any business, you should always have a plan B. That plan B should not include being going back to be an employee.
Happy Easter, kabayan!

I don't have a candidate in mind to vote for yet. I think I'm gonna research further and monitor their campaigns before I could even come up with a conclusion. Our family's future is at hand here and I don't wanna mess up.

there is still no official list of candidates who will run for president on the 2010 election, just speculations.
Noli De Castro would be the most suited as the 15th philippine president. i heard that jaime velarde, loren legarda, manny villar, and mar roxas will run as candidate.

If I'm going to choose one I want Binay to be the next President. Makati now has so many progress. He accomplished many projects there like free education and the facility of municipal hall is also improved. In fact the citizens of Makati benefited from the taxes from the business sector there. If he going to run I going to vote him definitely.

Its me!! Joke :D
On my opinion, the next Philippine President might be Manuel Roxas or Loren Legarda. I think they possess the qualities of being the next ruler of our country because of their education and experiences in politics. Although there are others too that are qualified for the position, these two candidates have much supporter that they have been helping their needs in the past years.

Hey there! I don't know who will be the next president of our country but it is clear who are aspiring to run for the highest public seat in the country. I will vote for Manny Villar. I believe in his slogan "Sipag at Tyaga" Have a nice day. Happy posting!!

Honestly, I don't have anyone in mind right now. I have thought about voting Chiz Escudero before if he ever run in the Presidential election but I was kind of discouraged because I guess all of them were just thinking of themselves. We'll anyway, 2010 is still far. So I guess I'll have to be very keen in my selection.

There's a big chance that VP Noli De Castro and Sen. Manny Villar will be the next Philippine president. Considering their popularity, wealth and political machinery to back them up (that is, if De Castro will be adopted by any of the major political parties in the country), both have big chance for them to replace Pres. GMA.
But for sure, I will not both neither of them. My instinct tells me that they are both trapos (traditional politician) and can do nothing to improve the situation of the country. I maybe wrong but that is what I feel right now. I would rather have somebody who is not that popular but whom I believe can rule our country with iron hand and clean heart. I haven't found one yet from those who already expressed their intention to run in the 2010 election and who by their deeds clearly indicates how they really, really wanted to be in Malacanang soon.
