If I'm not mistaken it's one of the masterpiece of Ozamu Tezuka...I love the Black Jack OVA series. I hope I can buy a copy of that. It is really amazing.

Me too. I love that as well. Like the manga also. The OVAs are "refurbished" series already. There are an older version.

It was a great series and an even better change of pace not your average anime i would say a must watch for anyone who watches a lot of anime and watch something different.

Black Jack is a surgeon that operates even the impossible cases in medicine. i had seen some episodes of it and it was good. however i wouldn't pay for a million dollars for that surgeon haha, he's too expensive!

I love the anime, manga and the live action. Yah, he is a surgical genius with a past. Of course, Black Jack is just his code name, he has a real name which he doesn't use because of the past. The good thing about him is that he asks for a millions and billions but the money he gets is to buy the places that needs to be saved or give some to the charity. Some say he is selfish but he is really not, he just billions from patients because he also wants to save the world.

yeah I know that anime,if I am not mistaken it is an anime about a doctor who named black jack and he saves lives of people. I also like that anime.

I've been watching black jack~~ you're right...he's a masterpiec of Ozamu tezuka. Black Jack is the only Doctor who can operate someone without a license. I don't know why he's not yet arrested since what he's doing is illegal. But what really left me wondering is why he doesn't like to get a license...it's really weird. But anyway, I still like the series..it's just that the story is very different from the manga..
