Music is of two kinds namely vocal music and instrumental music. Vocal music directly depends on the nature of voice one has and the tenor in it. Where as instrumental music directly depends on the way one practises it. Instruments are of 4 types and they are solid, holed, percussion and stringed. Cymbals are the examples of the solid variety. Flute comes under the holed variety. Drums and the Indian instrument mrudangam comes under the percussion variety and violin and the Indian instrument Veena comes under the stringed variety.
