I have three children, 4 1/2, 2 1/2, and 10 months. From my expirience I think that some of the most important things are receiving blankets. Little babies love to be wrapped tight after they are born. You will need to get supplies for nursing or bottle feeding (other than bottles) a bottle brush to wash them, a drying rack, different types of nipples. Also don't plan on buying one type of bottle, you're baby might not like that type. I don't recommend stocking up on one type of bottle, wait till she gets here and decides what kind she will like. If you are gonna use formula you could start picking some up now just to stock up, it is expensive and, it lasts for awhile as long as it is unopened. If you are nursing, you will need nursing bras, a pump, lanolin, and nursing pads. Pacifers are always helpful. My swing has been a blessing. A vibrating chair is also soothing for the baby and helpful for you.

Diapers, diapers, diapers...lol...they go through a ton of them. Burp cloths & bibs...lots of sleepers. Babies live in them. Dont go crazy on buying formula because your baby may need specific formula. A baby bath tub. Other than that i think your set. Oh a stroller of course & car seat. Congrats.

It's been 11 years since I had my baby! Time flies so enjoy every single second you have with her!
It has been quite a long time since I had a baby but I remember the little swing (don't remember what it's called) was a life saver. My son loved it and I was able to put him in it while I cleaned, cooked, did laundry, etc. It was wonderful. You'll also need tons of those little thin blankets (don't remember the name of those either) because babies love to be swaddled. Get some nail clippers...nails grow extremely fast, a baby bath tub (easier than washing the baby in a big tub), baby lotion if you live in a dry climate, butt paste (put on baby after every single changing...I did and my son never ever got a diaper rash). Also change the diaper immediately. I never let my son pee more than once in his diaper and he was rash free the whole time he was in diapers. I knew people who would wait till their kids peed at least 5 or more times and the kids always had rashes. I don't care how many diapers he went through, it was worth it.

One thing that you will need are plenty of diapers and wipes. Some other things you will need are baby powder, baby shampoo, socks, baby bibs, receiving blankets, bibs, sleepers, car seat, diaper rash creme. These things will get you thru the first few weeks after she is born. You may won't to also become a member of the baby gaga forum this website helped me out a lot while I was pregnant.

Actually baby powder is not encouraged to use for babies. Talc is the main ingredients for producing baby powder. It may lead to lung cancer or ovarian cancer. It might quite not safe to apply the baby powder on babies.

Wow baby stuff is endless these days. When I was pregnant with my daughter I got all kinds of unnessicary stuff!! You'll need a car seat to bring the baby home. You will definitely need diapers and wipes. If you buy diapers ahead don't buy too many newborn babies won't fit in them very long, in most cases. You will also want to keep gas drops and tylenol on hand. You'll want to get a baby bath and baby washcloths are much easier to use then a regular wash cloth since they are so little and you have to get in all their little rolls. Don't forget baby shampoo, bath wash, brush, lotion, and diaper cream. You will need a crib in a few months time at least, with plenty of crib sheets and plenty of sheets to change in the bassanet as well. You will also need plenty of clothes so you'll have somthing to change them into if they get messy. Bibs are a big help as well. YOu also want to make sure you have a nose sucky thing to get all of the snot out when they get stuff and Saline. When they are young doctors don't like to prescribe medicine but always tell you to use saline to get all that stuff out. You want to have baby clippers although that is not fun to do it's something that has to be done. If you plan on using a pacifer you'll want to get several of them they are often lost. For bottle feeding bottle warmers come in handy.
As she gets to be a couple of months old or so you may want to get a swing, bouncy seat , and a play mat. All keep the baby calm and as they get older they will be amazed by these things.

Something that would probably be useful to you would be a couple of extra pacifiers. When I brought my daughter home, she would only use one type of pacifier. So we had to stock up on them. For the first few months, she was good at rolling her pacifier onto the floor or tossing it across a room. You can't always leave the baby alone and it would be difficult to carry her with you everytime you had to clean a pacifier. We would often purchase 5 or so extras just in case.
You stated that you had a car seat for your daughter. Definitely a plus. We found it extremely useful and convenient to buy a convertible car seat. This worked great in the first few months of her life when she slept alot. We could just remove part of the car seat and carry it with us without waking her up. That was perfect when shopping because it would just snap into the cart where children are supposed to sit anyway. This also works when going to the doctor. Then, when done, you just snap it into its base and continue on. We often did this and my daughter very seldom woke up during that time. If possible, it would be a good idea to purchase an extra car seat.
Also, depending on whether you will be using formula, you might want to buy water and liners for the bottles. My doctor told me that I would still need to boil the bottled spring water that you buy in the store, which surprised me. She said that there were a couple of brands that were already suited for use with formula that did not need to be boiled beforehand.
If you don't mind my suggesting this, you may want to sign up with the Publix baby club, if it is available in your area. You might also want to sign up with sites like Huggies, Pampers, etc., if you have not already.
One last thing, if you come into a few extra minutes, it would be great if you would sign up at the Consumer Product Safety Commission website at www.cpsc.gov if you have not already. They have all the info on tons of recalled products. One case was a car seat we had for my daughter. We registered the seat and our information with the company. Several months later, there was a recall. The only way we found out about it was because we signed up for newsletters that let us know about certain recalls and it listed her car seat. You just never know. Better safe than sorry.
Congrats on you new little bundle of joy coming soon!
