I'm trying to figure something out. When leaving or posting comments to mylot, I understand that it looks at the quality of your submission. this determines how much you get paid per post. what gets me is, does the length of the comment make a difference at all? I could leave a short comment that was really helpful and at the same time, say a whole lot of garbage. Does the length of your comments determine the quality of your submission?

If a discussion is a QUALITY dicussion it would require more than just a short answer. A one-liner just asking a question would not be earning either as a discussion (and would probably get deleted). The discussions where it is possible to give more than just a short answer are those considered as quality and those will be the ones that will be more rewarding as far as quality responses are concerned.
Quality comments are also good earners. That's what discussions are all about.
