There's no question that Sachin Tendulkar is the best and will remain the best..In the period between 95-03 he was India's only pillar..People get inspired by his workmanship..
He is the DON of Indian cricket..
Of the newer guy Yuvi has proved his mettle..Gautam Gambhir is proving as the 2nd "Mr. Dependable"..
Ishant Sharma is a great talent...
happy mylotting..

That is a tough question. In one days, I like Sehwag, Gambhir, Sachin, Yuvraj and Dhoni. All four have scored good number of runs and also have got out cheaply. I think Sehwag and Gambhir are better because they are openers. They have to play the fast bowlers when the are bowlers are bowling at full speed. It is much difficult to play the new ball.
In test match I like Sehwag, Dravid and Laxman. I think Dravid is best because when he comes to bat he takes a lot of time to return back to pavallion. Even though he takes a lot of time to score runs, he faces a lot of bowler. Most people don't like him because of this. Here are the advantages of his batting style.
1]After a wicket has fallen Dravid does not get out immediatley.
2]This creates stability.
3]Affects the opposition.
4]Bowlers and his team loose their enthusiasm.
5]Strike bowlers get tired of bowling to him.
6]Indian team feels secure.
7]We are glad that another wicket has not fallen quickly.
Besides he is the only dependable player when playing outside India. His stats speak for themselves that he is the best overseas player not only among Indian but among international batsman.

Obviously, it should be sachin tendulkar if you consider his records but not to take any thing from yuvraj and Dhoni, they both are match winners and won many matches single handedly or saved many matches from loosing.

Definitely Sachin Tendulkar is the best batsman in the current cricket team. His records and 20 years of cricketing experience has proved it. Go by the record book and you will find Sachin's name everywhere. He has the right technique and the moct important he plays as the situation demands.
