why does the stupid people get paid more

the ones who dont do there work and dont help out seem to look better then the people who work to death.... why is this? i dont get it?
please i need some advice.

I see many aspects of what you have discussed and I'll discuss them all one by one.
1. Many people don't really work very hard, but work in a smart way. They manage their work really well and find some ways out to lessen their burden, getting it don2 with little effort.
2. Some people are good at doing things, and they can do a work in half a time as compared to others.
3. Some people do not work very hard, but do buttering to higher officials, become apple of their eyes and then get rewarded for what they don't at all deserve.
4. Some people are good at work, but we think they are not so. It may be due to any personal reason or some kind of bad impression.

This is pretty much spot on, but add in option 5
5. The person worked their tail off to get to the position they are in, and now have different responsibilities that either cause less "grunt work" or less work in general. But.. pay usually is a direct reflection to your "responsibility" level and not how much you work. One of the VP's of my company may not look like they do very much but when a problem in the company arises, he could be the one that is fired even if it isn't directly his fault. People that high up take responsibility for ALL of the people below them.

so true. i am just upset cause i worked my tail off and tried to help everyone and i guess the people think i was trying to take over there job. thus i am frusterated. its the catch 22 either you do it and have coworkers up set or you dont do it and look like you dont do your work with your boss.
how do you win this battle. well off job hunting.

It's and old saying but they say GOD protect's the weak of body and head..Me I never but to much work into thing's and well with me driving a 18wheeler truck after taxe's I get paid 1233.00 a week freind's of mine had gone to school and ect.. say that they can't belive what I make for a 4 day work week..
And my PT job I make 600.00 for the weekend job (I move the football equiment for the Pittsburgh Steeler's and for the Pirate's our baseball team here )
