what is the best system??

i am looking to install a new stereo system in my car. i currently have the polk rs door speaker, which are really expensive, but i am here to find out what everyone thinks the best subwoofer for the price is. i have competition kicker 12" already but i want more. i know that the solo x is one of the best but for $800 i don't know. my friend recently told me about a sub called lms18 which is a 18" sub that has been known to break windows and shake just about anything around them, and i can get them for around $700. what sub should i go for, and what amp should i get to power them. it would be great if some one could help me and give me some ideas and prices on what i should get, thanks!
