People dont always scar or burn. My bro could hold his hand under boiling water even though it would hurt like $%#@ and would only go a little bit red.

Oh that's nice because you don't have any burn or scar, I am also wondering why?maybe your skin is "burn" resistance, joke!hehehhe.
I easily burn even in a slight heat of boling water or from a heated object like kettle or heater or rice cooker. I just put some toothpaste on it because they said it is a good home remedy for burns.

You are very, very lucky. That could have been a terrible burn! What did you do immediately after? Being accident prone, I do plenty of things like that in the kitchen. I keep an aloe plant for that reason, and it seems to prevent a lot of burns when I use it.

just ran it under cold water. I am accident prone too, but luckily I am very durable. I have never broken a bone or had stitches

I burn easily everywhere but my hands. I work as a cook so I guess my hands have adapted to handling hot stuff.
