its interesting to say the least.. makes me almost wanna take up painting again since i cant paint well but it looks better than that.. im not putting it down just saying lol.. i love marilyn manson but i dont think i would buy his artwork but im not one to collect items of singers like that..
would you buy his artwork? are you the type of person that if you like a singer or actor/actress you would support and buy whatever they do (if you could afford it of course) or like me and think "thats nice but i like my money more.." lol

I have to say that I'm not a complete fan of his style but a few pieces weren't bad; however, did you see the price tags on them?
No, I'm not a big fan of him. To be honest I don't know that much about him. I know there is a big hype on image in the field he's in, but I see a dark side there that I don't want to explore.

i think a lot of him is misunderstood due to a lot of religious organizations spreading stuff about them.. heck i went to his concert and then read the paper the next day and they were claiming he did something awful when he didnt..
some pieces i like and i have no idea how much they would be.. im scared to know lol.. its probably an insane amount

I agree misunderstood. The dark side I see is through his art. I don't listen to his music so then don't know that much about him. I think people tend to be more interested in figures when they are interested in their music/films etc.
I think the only think I remember is his wife was photographed in a martinie glass? Is that right? That's about all I can remember.

I like a couple of them...and the one where it looks like mickey mouse taking his ears of like its a hat...i would actually buy that one. But as for your question...i would not buy something just because i like the person who made it...i would actually have to like what i am buying.

It's not exactly my style but I do think they are interesting, if not a bit depressing.
I'm curious as to how much they are selling for. It would be great to be a Marilyn Manson fan and to be able to buy an original painting done by him.
Colourful, interesting and I wonder what inspired him to come up with these images.

im not sure how much they are going for.. and yeah they do seem a little depressing but i think that may make them more interesting in a way.. wondering what he was thinking and feeling as he painted them etc

I think it's interesting that he takes up painting; it really is. It really shows a different, more artistic side of him. Good for him. I'm not really into painting so I can't really judge whether he makes "good" or "bad" art - and I certainly don't BUY paintings, so I probably wouldn't buy his. But I'm sure some of his die-hard fans will want to get their hands on these.

I am a chinese boy.In our country, heavy metal just like MM's style is not be supported by people. But exsiting is always be sensible, there are still many guys like me live in here.I am rock singer,my work is writing music and show these songs to people out of here.So learning from good rock band like MM is necessary.I don't care how he looks like wick,i just know that so many good songs written by him have already cross the ocean and get into the CDshop in China and became a very famous band in here.I thnk there are so many stars are more handsome then MM,but they cannot spread thier stuff through such long distance to get orient. So the truth can tell us everything.we needn't talk about whether his opus is art.If art cannot be known by people and just exist in so called expert's eyes well then art is just nothing.

It's interesting, but it's really not my style. It's well done, but it's not something I'd want to buy and hang in my home. Just not my style.
