One of the saddest stories to come my way this evening is to see this man just cashing his income tax check, and all of a sudden, the car burns up taking his money along with him. He was counting on that money to get out of debt and now he's back at square one. Though I'm not doing the best, I still would send something to him so he know folks out there care about him and what happens to him; He was crying on the report.

Getting burned by taxes is bad enough, burning the refund is horrific!

Yes, it is; I tend to agree. He couldn't help it that the car burned; that's defeating his purpose if he did and he needs help. Which is why I put it on here at MyLot.

Hi, Savvynlady! Yes, this is very sad to hear about! Just knowing how long it takes to wait on this money is exhausting! After hearing this, I hope that the tax refund can issue him out another check being that it was not cashed anyway. I am so sorry to hear about this.

Well Cream,
He did cash the check and the money was put in the glove compartment of the car which burned; I believe he can recover some of the money so long as there are serial numbers visible. that's it. and that is like $400 worth. out of $4000 that is hard.

Well, I hope something work out for him. That there are enough folks who watch that and try to help him in some sort of way.
