I have recently bought some of the old television series that were on when I was very very young. I liked the A team when I was younger and I bought the first and second season of the show on dvd. The funny thing is that my daughter now in her teens likes this show. I was very surprised because my daughter and I do not usually agree on any television show. I would not mind seeing the A team come back to life but in a way with the show being released on dvd it is back. All the shows I watched as a young girl can now be enjoyed by my daughter just like it was back on television.
I never got the pleasure of see in the show called Jake and the Fatman until recently when it came out on dvd. I thought the show was very interesting and would not mind seeing more episodes. I have season one and am looking forward to getting more seasons of the show, if they release more.
One of my other favorite television shows were Murder she wrote. I looked forward to seeing Angela Landsbury solving another mystery. I now have four seasons of her show and enjoy watching them over and over. I am sure we all have favorites that we watch so much we know all the lines to the show.
I have to say there were a few good shows back around the 1970's that were quaility viewing. It seems like todays shows do not have the quaility that the older shows had. Maybe some more of those old shows will be released for us all to enjoy again.

Most all from the 70's and 80's were the best ever.. I am collecting the box sets of those shows as they come out and go on sale...that was back when it was fun to watch a sitcom because it was funny and hilarious... thse days.. if a sitcom can last more that half a season, it is about not much more than s*x... definately not a family viewing show! I used to really enjoy TGIFridays with my kids.. popcorn, snacks and 2 hours of laughter and fun!
