Whos a better cook? A man or the usual women..

Hello,Dillip! It is definite that the woman is the best cook in the world.The women have been cooking from the beginning of the civilization for their family members with utmost care and love that you can't find in the cooking of a chef.The chef is good for commercial purpose.But the women are good at cooking at home.thanx.

Man and woman will be a good cooker just " if " they love it as some thing nice and great. Woman tend to do it base on the culture or tradition that " women have to cook for men ". Most of women do it with "not happy " feeling and thinking like this " when I will get out from this hell kitchen ". I am sure this situation and condition won't make a good cooker. But when a man doing cooking, 99% of them is fond of this activity and consider it to be " happy cooking ". And then some of them would be extending to professional category. Another reason that in hotels and restaurant often employ a man for chef is because women usually can't do this mass cooking, in very hot and humid big kitchen of hotel for example, women can't bear the heat and so much activity that really need muscle and speed. ( no offend to women ). In the professional point of view, the mass cooking such as restaurant, speed and strength is a must, and men can be a better candidate for it. I often notice in the TV cooking program, women tend to demonstrate cooking slowly and sometimes too complicated that they mention too much small stuff that has nothing to do with the cooking, but men tend to do it in more simple way and make audience understand easily, it reflects on their cooking speed too. I am sorry, it doesn't mean woman is bad cooker and this is not exact theory, only my personal point of view, please forgive me if I say something wrong.

"Necessity is the mother of invention" and when you have no other option than to learn a new thing you will definitely do so and in time you will also become good at it.Women are good cook but a man can be a better cook than a woman if situation demands.So I don't think that we can generalize things.

Well for everyday cooking at home, we grew up knowing that its the mother that usually do it. Thats our culture. But if you consider the Commercial side of cooking like in restaurants or 5 star hotels, most of their chefs are men. So if we are talking of quality food for commercial establishments i would say men are better. But if we are talking about what is good for our families it would be definitely the women who are more experienced. They care alot on what their families are eating.
