Recently, Imeldific is listed as one of the world's greediest of all times because of her 3,000 pairs of shoes, diamonds, and horrendous shopping sprees amounting to millions of dollars. The Marcos family so far has not yet commented on this infamous label attached to Imelda, but for me, this is nothing new. In fact, if you look at the listing of the Guiness book under Greed, the Marcoses are prominently listed there. What's appalling is that corruption has become so prevalent in our country, it's disgusting to note that millions of our countrymen are wallowing in extreme poverty.

I don't think it is appropriate to label the Marcoses and or Imelda Marcos to be the greediest family or person's in the world. Yes they have ruled the Philippines for almost 21 years, and what we are enjoying now, electricity, water services, cross country highways and roads, bridges, CCP Complex, and LRT are some of the fruits of that regime. The Marcoses were filed with numerous corruption cases but no, not even one was proven, and have you heard any millions of pesos worth of scams during the Marcos regime? NO right. But have you heard such today? definitely a Yes. Imelda Marcos has millions of dollars to spend thanks to the Yamashita treasure which President Marcos found after World War 2. Those millions spend by Imelda Marcos was thought to be goverment money and during the Edsa 1 Revolt they were publicly persecuted to have done corruptions and thats the basis of Guiness to list them as greediest family in the world. I think Guiness needs to refresh its new lists of greediest people in the world, there are so many newcomers now from our country.
