Captcha Runs Me Crazy!

I know that nobody in their right mind enjoys getting Spam in their Inbox and I also realize that there must be ways to prevent Spam from making it's way in there, but I have to tell you that Captcha runs me absolutely out of my mind! Especially on Yahoo! mail! It seems that every time I write an e-mail and start to send it I am taken to another page where I have to fill in the Captcha code and by the time I get it figured out, I may try 15 or more times, I forget why I am even sending an e-mail! Most of the time if you can't tell what the code is you can click in the box or a link etc. and it will refresh with yet another blurry code! Now very recently I have been having a lot of problems with getting my e-mails sent Out using my Yahoo! account. I get to the dreaded Captcha code page and try as I might to get the code correct, I know before I start I am going to be wrong what seems like 100 times, but now recently I do not have a refresh link to click on. I read where it says something like: "are you having problems with this code"? and I click on the link and I am not being given a refreshed code but rather am taken to yet Another Yahoo page with tutorials about Yahoo! and how they work! I have just about given up on Yahoo! mail after the last few days! Do you have a problem with Captcha codes in general? Have you had problems getting them to refresh on Yahoo mail recently or am I the only one in the World with this problem? Any ideas on how to turn the darn things off wouldn't go astray either...if it is possible!

Frankly I've never heard of this, so really haven't a clue.........but if it's got anything to do with Yahoo, then it's no wonder. I avoid Yahoo. It give me and my computer the hiccups and I have enough trouble some days typing as it is, without my fingers bouncing all over the keyboard when the hiccups get started! Sorry gorgeous, but can't help ya!

You are far too nice to me sweetheart! Will you still let me know the solution when I find it even after making your hubby say bad words to you? lol I know you will find a solution before me as my brain is just refusing to cooperate with the rest of me right now - think it is just obsessed with baby bunnies! lol xxx

Oh yes, rest assured I will let you know if I ever find an solution even though Hubby said bad words to me!! His problem is that he just doesn't have the fantastic, wonderful sense of humor that the two of us have been blessed with!!! XXXX

Yahoo does it, when you send the same mail to more than five people or if you try to forward multiple message to one person. Otherwise, it didn't happen to me ever.

Thanks for the information, I really appreciate it. Unfortunately for me, it is happening to me with my regular e-mails! I only send one message to one person at one time, totally different, Non Spam e-mails, just letters to friends of mine so don't be surprised if it happens to you one day!! Thanks a lot for your response and the information!!

It is annoying especially if I mistyped the words or numbers (It's blurry and distort that I couldn't figure out what it is) It does help to prevent spam but that doesn't change the fact how annoying it is!

I couldn't agree with you more, I can appreciate that something may prevent Spam, (although to look at all of the Spam I get I don't think it is working for my e-mail inbox!!), but wouldn't you think they could come up with something a Little less annoying?? For instance...how about instead of blurry numbers and letters you ask a simple math question like 1 + 1 = almost Everyone would know the answer to that and if they didn't they could always use a calculator, but the bot wouldn't be able to know what it said...as far as I know!! Thanks for responding and letting me know I am not the only one that gets annoyed by this!!
