Does personal relationship with teachers helps for good grade?

Hi, last semister I got total 89% marks and I got A- in one of my subject. which was just 1 number away from A.But one of my class mate got A but he only score 85% marks.He maintain very good personal relationship with that teacher.But me you know there are lots of thing to do in ones life.I dont have enough time to flirt my teacher.Do you think that in university life it is important to maintain a personal relation with teachers?

Hi again,You know I responded to one of your discussion few seconds ago so there was no wish to respond to your another discussions but suddenly I find out that you also live in Bangladesh.I never realize that I am going to find some Bangladeshi on my lot.Oh come to your point I think you are right Sometimes personal relation does help some time to make someone good grade
