I get my local Sunday paper every week. If there are a lot of coupons in that I use I will buy several papers. Some of the grocery stores here in Maryland will double up to .50 cents and then other will double up to .99 cents. Then there are specials where stores will double up to $1.00 for a week. KMart has been know to run a few sales where they double up to $2.00. This means those coupons that I have cut are worth a lot more and worth the effort.
Most of the stores here in Maryland do not like to take internet coupons. This means that I need to rely mainly on the coupon sections in the paper.
I also keep all the coupon sections for about a month. This lets me go back and cut other coupons if I need them. I like to get good deals and save big money. When my stock pile of shampoo, deodorant, toothpaste and other things gets too large I have a yard sale to sell off the extra. This puts a little money in my pocket and save the people who come to my sale as well.
There is an online magazine that is called refundcents. This site has lots of people on it that share there good deals with you. They also help you find the good deals you may miss. I love this site as it helps me decide what to buy and where. They will also tell you what coupons are out on the product as well as where to find it. It is always good to have more than one person looking for the bigest savings. In this way you will not miss so much. It will also help you decide if you want to buy that newspaper with the coupons.
I love coupons and to me it is worth the time to cut and organize. That is just my opinion. Thanks to coupons and the store rebates I usually get my shampoo, conditioners, soap, dishwashing liquid, deodorant, automatic dishwashing detergent for free.

I keep all the coupons that come into my house. Even if I don't use the product, a sale might come up that makes an item free that I can donate somewhere. I love getting free stuff and then taking a car load to the local battered woman's shelter and just watch the eyes light up!
When my coupons expire, or close to expire and I know I won't use them, I send them in an expired train and the train keeper sends them to military overseas as most of them can use expired coupons up to 6 months in the commisary.

I cut coupons weekly.
I keep them in an envelop on my refrigerator so everyone can scan through them to take what they need when they go shopping.

If I see coupons that I know i can use, and that I know I will use, I save them, and make sure I use them. If the coupons are for items that are not of interest to me, and that I don't usually buy in the first place, I will bypass the coupons, and move on to something else.

I do keep some coupons at times. I just usually collect those that will give a discount or free items from food chains. I find them useful and most of the time I am able to use it. For other type of coupons it always ends up in my garbage can.

hi,youless! frankly speaking,i don't collect coupons. but there are many fast food resturants like KFC around the place where i work. so i will often receive some coupons by leaflets on my way to work or home. usually i will throw them to some places at random. coz i don't like eating fast food. so i find those coupons not very helpful.

Yes i keep coupons.I used to eat pizza once a month in the whole year. Then for new year i got coupons.I kept it very safe with me.I used both the coupons before the given time.I was happy at the discount i got.Having coupons will help is enjoy the things we buy at a lesser rate.Even in companies they give coupons to the employees to enjoy discounts.

Yeah, i keep the coupons, but not the clothes,KTV or restaurants.
I know the way to give you coupons is a kind of marketing tools,if you keep them, you would remember what day would be expired and you have the motive to use them all,and your money, gone.
However,why not enjoy your life?

I'm a big advocate of using coupons to save money. I clip and use a lot of them and I don't subscribe to any newspapers. You can be creative and get them from a lot of sources, stores, pamphlets, flyers, magazines, friends, online, etc. In these tough economic times, I find every bit saved helps. Last month I saved over $60.00 using coupons and like I told my husband, everything was stuff I would have bought even without coupons and we'd have the exact same stuff and it would have cost over $60. more, so I'm a big fan of coupon clipping. I live in Canada and you can go to save.ca to join up and get coupons from them. You choose the ones you want and they mail them right to your door. There are also some good clubs and websites. I've now made one of my daughter's a believer and now that she has a baby, she's managed to save quite a bit on diapers, baby food and baby supplies as well :) Happy clipping everyone

Very good question. I keep coupons, but very often I am late and unable to use them on time. Most of my coupons expire to soon...

I hardly buy anything without some sort of coupon. It's a pain to collect and clip but I tracked my "savings" for a few months to see if it was worth it and I was saving on average about $2300 a month. Our local Sunday newspaper is expensive so when it contains good coupons I go to the coupon clipping services and get them there. I get a lot of free items and usually have so much that I give it to people that need it.

I am a coupon fanatic. I get the Sunday newspaper every Sunday morning in my driveway and its the first thing i do every Sunday morning. I get the newspaper and go right to the grocery coupons and start cutting out everyone of them. I choose which ones i should keep, which ones i should use for my boyfriend and then the ones we give away at my moms work to them. There good for everyone and everyone needs coupons to save money.
Also when going to certain stores they ask to fill out a survey at the end of the receipt to save money on your next trip to that store and i always do that to. Everything helps and i love me some good coupons.
I see that you don't get coupons or don't bother with the newspaper and that's OK. You can print out coupons from home at your own desk if you have a printer now. I also print out coupons online because sometimes the ones in the newspaper are good to have, but there are more on the computer that i can find that weren't in the newspaper and they all help at the end. You can also find retail coupons when shopping for sneakers, shoes, clothes or whatever you might like online.

The concept of coupons are great but whenever I have them I forget to take them to the place I am shopping at! I dont like coupons you have print off from your email though- too much work to save 50 cents and you really arent even sving because you have to buy printer paper to print them off!
