Hi Chimrani...I think they are just wearing jail suits...They are probably not either of those colours underneath..and what if they have red on them? What is black and white and red all over and isnt a newspaper?..Thats right...its a zebra with diaper rash!
I think they are offwhite with black stripes! But now I am going to check because I am curious..You will have all of mylot doing a search for Zebras and tomorrow we will be able to tell you all about them..

Aren't they amazing looking animals? They have these perfect stripes that look like they have been meticulously painted on. I like SpikeTheLobster' theory that is may well be a zebra conspiracy and that they are actually green! I am inclined to think though that they are white with black stripes oh...Wait a minute, let me take another look...No they are black with white stripes...No, no they are white...It all depends how you look at them!

I'm convinced they're actually green and just wear black-and-white striped clothes to fool everybody. It's a zebra conspiracy.
Seriously, I'd opt for white with black stripes, using tigers, leopards and other striped/spotted animals as a basis for comparison. They always have darker spots/stripes.
Going to have to go and try to find out now... you've got my brain wondering...!!

Zebras are cousins of donkeys which are totally white so i would say they got black stripes on white colour and not the other way round. If you see them closely they have same face and make of donkeys and eat same kind of things donkeys do, only thing is they are not domesticated, may be they are not domestic animals.

lol =D Does it really matter?? That's the nature of zebras and we shall leave it alone since most of them look alike with their stripes, even though all of them has got different stripes on them, just like our thumb prints.. lol =D
I guess not many ple knows the answer to that question and thus i iwll only take it as, they are stripe horses, something that natural ^_^ lol

I think conventially it has to be 'Black over white ' as it is easier to paint that
way. But there is abso lutely 'no-proof', it could be 'white seperate and black
seperate' But in any case, it won't be 'White over black' I find following from web:"Zebras are African equids best known for their distinctive white and black stripes.
Their stripes come in different patterns unique to each individual. They are generally
social animals and can be seen in small harems to large herds. Zebras are generally
2.3 m (8ft) long, stand 1.25-1.5 m (4-5ft) at the shoulder, and weigh around 300kg
(660 lbs), although some can grow to more than 410 kg (900 lbs"
May God bless you and have a great time.
