Hi People,I have been in a relationship with a girl since last 8 years ever since my schooldays.we both really love each other but due to some of the family problems of her we could not marry,now she is getting married next week,both of us are feeling very sad and low but one thing is for sure that we still love each other very much.She tells me to continue our friendship even after her marriage. But I feel it would be very difficult for me to see her with some body else,so friends tell me what should i do shall i try to forget her which is next to impossible or what?????????? thanks in advance 4 helping me.

One cannot forget but just remain very far from her because distance does fill up the sadness and as you meet new people gradually you forget or memory fades. It is very difficult to be just friends with someone you was in love with so I would advise you to go far from her.

I totally agree. If you find it too hard to see her with another man then you should try to distance yourself from her and try to met other people. Then maybe as time goes on you will be able to rekindle the friendship. I am having a hard time being friends with an ex, knowing he is seeing someone new.

i suggest you forget her,in this world,nobody must be alive with someone,after her married,she will find her husbend more important then you,you will also find the right girl for you.i think your could continue your friendship but no more than a friend.you must remembe your no longer a lovers.
