This is a shot of my dining room table after planting 30 cups worth of seeds for my garden. It looks rather neat after all that work. Usually I have dirt all over the table and floor. For some reason it wasn't as bad this year. Maybe I got tired of having a huge mess to clean each year? So when you do seeds or repotting plants do you tend to make a mess or are you the neat type? HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB!!~

I am sure you were more careful so you wouldn't have a mess to clean up. haha We we repot plants or do anything like that we do it outdoors and usually there is at least a little mess.

I put newspaper under my pots so that if I make a mess, it's caught on the newspaper which I then roll towards the centre from the edges and discard. Then I don't have a whole lot of mess to clear up! Brightest Blessings my friend.

I try to be neat, and usually succeed, but I always put down some newspaper first to catch any spills.

I use newspaper as well as this photo shows. But most times the dirt gets flying so much. Hahahaha! I did good this time though. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB!!~

I just do it outside so I don't have to worry about whether or not I make a mess. That sure is a lot of stuff you got going there. It looks like you are going to have a great garden again this year.

Yeah all told I have about 125 things planted. Plus we buy some plants as well come May. So it is going to be bigger than last years. Hopefully, that's if I do the digging that needs to be done. Hahaha! HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB!!~

Hi GRANDPA BOB, I normally make a mess when I am re-potting and I do out side so its just needs sweeping up so I don't do anything potting indoors as I am very messy. Tamara

I don't plant anything, except maybe seeds of doubt, and that isn't worth anything at all. You sure accomplish a lot what with all your other activities and taking care of your dad. Of course I'm sure Buster looks out for the whole lot of you.

I do things like that on my back porch. It's like a little room, actually, all closed in. I guess you'd call it a mud room. I lay newspaper on the floor so it's not too messy. I hate cleaning and that saves me a lot of mess. I still haven't done any planting in my little pots, been so busy, but I'll have to soon.

I'm the messy type. I tend to have to take my repotting outdoors or put paper down because i end up with mud on the floor

Once it is warm outside I do a lot of transplanting etc oput on the back porch. I just hose the dirt off or I do it in the grass. Makes it a lot easier. But it's still too cold to so anything outside as far as gradening and or planting etc. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB!!~

Great job! I have had huge trouble trying to plant things for my garden and my kitchen is the one that is messy. It is so dirty and there is dirt everywhere. I think next year I am going to put some newspaper to cover the floor before I organize everything that I am going to plant. I am surely the messy type but trust me I am working hard to change that!

Don't know if I should be in awe of your ability to not make a mess in this instance, or yell the word "hoax" at the top of my lungs. This is a very tough decision. Guess I should whisper it, so as not to spook the neighbors. The few times I tried gardening outside, I couldn't help but get dirt everywhere. I got it in my hair, all over my clothes, and even managed to get dirt on the ground. Though, in retrospect, I guess dirt on the ground isn't that big of a deal. The ground is made out of dirt peat's sake. If it was a floating garden out at sea, then it would be a problem. Neat people intrigue me. I don't know how anybody can spend so much time with organizing anything, and still manage to get things done. Productivity as a whole is amazing to me. After going to the bank to make a deposit, I'm totally spent for the rest of the day.

I am good at dirt all over as well once outside doing things. I leave more dirt on my feet than in the ground too it seems all too often. Plus my beagle Buster tracks a lot of dirt indoors. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB!!~

Hey Grandpa Bob Planting seeds and cleaning room can harden the body, yet i am not the neat person, sometimes i make it too messy. i always put a newspaper to keep the table clean. When i am in the good mood,i will take huge hard work to clean everywhere. So sometimes i am a neat person, yet not always.
