Do you flip the channel when commercials come on?

When commercial come on, the remote control starts to really play its part of the day..there is alwasy something to do when commercials some on. Ont of the most importat things to do in these cases is that of checking out the other channels and find out if there is anything interesting in the meanwhile. Another thing is that of going to the kitchen and pick up that microwave popcorn before it's too cold, or grab that cofee from the coffeemaker. That's the use of commercials..they are not there to be watched...for crying out loud!!

I too flip channels when the commercials come on. If the movie is popular then the commercials just go on and on. I hate sitting through them, generally i watch news when i flip channels, there is some breaking news or the other LOL

Sometimes. Normally I just put them on mute and do something else. It's not always the content that annoys me (although, when they're lying or conning alot, it's enough for me to turn off the tv and catch the episode on the net later), but most of the time it's how the commercials are ten times louder than the show or movie itself. Augh. Blast me outta the living room why dontcha. xD

Commercials kills the interest of watching tv ...especially when we are about to expect waz gona happen next?....we wud have swapped channels & by the time the movie or drama starts ....we completely forget to change the channel & continue from where we left.....watching completely different program thats on air......

i usually just watch the commercials, even though i hate. my husband has this bad habit of trying to watch like 8 shows at once so he will watch something until a commercial comes on then move on to something else. so i don't even watch tv with him anymore coz just as i will get in to something, he will change it and i will remind him and we will have already missed like half of what was happening so, theres no point after that.

They are terrible, I know companies want to sell their stuff but why not get their own channel and play them all they want?? That would eliminate us having to channel surf. I do it constantly, when I was young and my dad did it, it would drive me crazy. It's funny how things come around from them to us. My grandson is seven and he now does it too, LOL.

we do the same thing we flip channels after a show.

I work evenings,so tend to timeshift my tv viewing by setting my DVR to record my chosen shows or movies before I go out..Of course,the advantage of this being,I can skip over most of the adverts using chapter skip/fast forward functions to avoid 'em

i hate it when i am interupted in the middle of a nice movie i am watching... starworld, mbc 2 and action are typical examples

I HATE commercials.. My husband gets so angry watching tv with me because as soon as a commercial comes on I flip to see what other good shows are on. He always says "why cant you just leave one channel on. Your going to miss the show when it comes back on". He always tells me that thats why the man should have the remote..LOL Like there anybetter

I'm totally with you. I mean your at the edge of your seat in a good movie and a commercial comes. It kills the suspense. but its a good way to get you back to the show lol. Some commercials are really good, but they get boring after a while. but in general commercials are ughh.. lol

Before I'm about to watch a good program/movie I pause it for around 5 minutes and go and make a drink or whatever (Sky+). Then when I come back to it I press play and continue, when it gets to the adverts I just fast forward them through.

yeah i go straight to the music channels when the commerials come on

I record the shows I like than fast forward through the commercials! I hate commercials. I know they make it possible to have my shows by buying airtime but they are such a pain and there seems to be more and more of them!

I guess it depends on what the commercial is, but most of the time I'll change the channel, or leave the room etc for a break. Commercials are great times to go use the bathroom or refill a drink, or get second helpings on food, etc. Commercials are mostly dumb though I don't blame you for changing the channels, I do like watching older commercials because they actually made sense!

i do hardly ever watch commercials unless i got interested in them but usually i flip and many a times i loose important games as i switch and then forget to switch back

Hi, I'll definitely change the channel when the commercials come on. But the problem is every other channel that I flip too are also showing commercials. I dunno if this is some collaboration between the TV companies or what but almost every channel runs commercials at the same time. Nowadays, I'm already used to it that I don't really give a damn anymore.

i hate it when i watch movies or proggrammes and get interupted by commercials. especially starworld, mbc 2,mbc 4 and some others..i just cant wait and i flip it off

I DVR everything and fast forward through the commercials, they annoy me.
