Ever Wonder Why?

I have to admit that I have not read the bible from front to back. I have read a good deal of it and there are points where I just look at it and say now why is that phrased a certain way or what in the world was the point? For instance in the book of Genesis: For each thing God did: ....God created the heavens and the earth and he saw that it was good... each step the bible says he saw that it was good. Now I am thinking couldnt he have made it all and saw that it was good when it was complete? So I figured there must be a purpose in the statement so I looked up what the word saw meant- it means to peer at intently, examine as for perfection.... Ok that means that God created each piece to the puzzle that is our world and then did quality control, making sure it was absolutely perfect! That little word means so much when you dig into the original language. Have you ever come across something like this in the bible that left you scratching your head? Did you figure it out? Tell about a verse or statement in the bible that left you wondering why?

the words and the statements we will find in the bible are all a mystery in its own particular way, it will most definitely leave us wonderin for the most parts since all of it can be interpreted by the reader himself and my understanding will be different from yours, mine and everyone else.
