why buy DVD's

all I seem to do is to buy DVD's watch them once then sell to for less than half the price, why do I do this ?? I ask my self am I the only one that does this ?

Rent them our do like I do go to frostwire.com download them then you can keep them that's what I do..
I don't sell them and I do have the higher pay site for frostwire but there are free version tooo...
