They didnt even care what they had to say!!!!!

Ok my mom has 4 dogs. Her oldest is 10 years old. Then there is a female 1 year old and 2 puppies about 6 months old. Where my mom lives in florida in an area that only has about 15 homes in it. All the dogs there run around freely. They all play together and come over my mom's house where they recieve treats. This has been going on for about 5 years so when this happened Friday I was in complet shock. All the dogs where out playing with another dog when my little brother went to get the dogs to come in this other dog went nuts and started going after my little brother in turn my mom's dog attacked this dog. The cops were called out and my mom did what was right and said it was her fault and would pay the vet bill and everything like that. At this point everything was over with. Well the dogs went out to go to the rest room and a drunk man from down the road came chaseing after all the dogs with a metal pole screaming I am going to kill you all and so on and so forth. My mom called the dogs in at this point before the man even got to the yard. Now mind you this man has nothing to do with the attack earlier in the day. Well about 3 hours later the police were at my moms door agian stating that this man was mauled by the puppies. When my mom tryed telling the officer he was never near the dogs the officer said he was not there to hear what she had to say he recieved the complaint and that was that. While waiting for animal control to come out my mom had a Corporal came out and sent the officer on his way. At this point my mom was able to tell her side. She was informed that there were no marks or and signs of him being bitten but because there was a complaint animal contol had to come out, 2 hours later animal control shows up and says they have to take all the dogs even though only 1 of them were supposidly involved. They told her to call in the morning and they will let her know if she can come get the dogs or wait 10 days for corentine. The next morning she was told the dog involved in the dog fight was going to be put down. We kinda figured that. Then they said that she would have to pay 2800 dollars to get her dogs back. So we all start pulling together the money when they call back and told mom she could only have the dogs back if she paid 500 dollars per dog per year for a dangerous dog licenes they was told on top of that she had mussel and have 2 type of restraints on the dogs at all times even if they were in a fenced in back yard. Now here is the thing the mother in law of the man who claimed this came down and talked to my mom and admitted they he did this because he was drunk and fighting with his wife he is also bragging that this never happened he never got neat the dogs. My mom called animal control and this lady told them every thing she told me mom and they said sorry we already have everything in place that she would still have to pay all the fines and do the yearly thing for life as long as she has dogs. My mother is on disability and can not afford this so she had to surrendor all her dogs. What kills me is the 10 year old dog we have had since he was 8 weeks old. He has never bitten anyone he barely barks. All the grandkids climb all over him and he just lays there. On both accounts he was laying on the porch and yet he is now jerked from his home all because a drunk man lied and no one cares about the truth. My mom took responsibility for the dog fight and did what was right. She is paying the bill and surrendered the dogs so she doesnt hurt anyone or anything else but this man took everything from here. She lost her husband 1 1/2 years ago and the only thing left was there dog whom now she has lost because of a liar and people who dont do there jobs right.
