No, you should only bath your cats rarely, when they have something really nasty in their coat. It can dry out their skin and cause a lot of problems. If you must bath them dry the cat wipes that are available and limit the bathing to once every couple of weeks.

you know, I'm attached to my skin and I like my skin attached to my body and without undo holes and tears in it
so, I only bathe my cats as a last resort and I can't afford to take them to get groomed elsewhere....
I've given maybe a dozen baths over the years and most to young cats

No, actually a cat should only take a bath once or twice a month if it is a short hair, but if it is a long-hair, then it has to be once or twice a week.

Its definantly Not healthy at all....Cats wash themselves with their tongue....Washing everyday can cause skin infections by drying it out and causing the fur to lose its natural oils..Besides that its dangerous because they do use their tongues they are ingesting the shampoos that are used to wash it, this can cause poisoning after time sooner or later.

Cats can bathe too frequently. That will destroy him,for the sebaceous glands ,make the skin of his bad cold ability. If a cat is summer just once a week .Once a month in winter .After washing,he must be dry .Don't let him cold ! Wish you happy and healthy cat.
