Still haven't beaten SMB1 yet

I've beaten it multiple times. It's a fun game. The fastest way to beat it is to use the warp zones. Of course, going all the way through is fun too, but it takes longer. It can be hard, once you get into the later levels. The castles start to use harder puzzles. They can be hard to figure out.

I spent about a week just trying over and over to beat this. I swear about half the time I would just get to somewhere on world 8 (usually 8-4 just to make me even more angry) and lose my last life. I only personally know one person who has beat it lol. What stinks is in the original version only has 2 1-ups in the whole thing while later remakes have atleast 1 in each world. So I've beaten those versions, but still not the original. I usually only die on hammer bros and bowser... but that's just enough to make me lose all my lives :P .

Don't worry, you're not alone, I still haven't beaten it either, I've beaten a lot of other Mario games, but I haven't beaten the first one for the NES...

I've never beaten the first one either. I beat all the rest though. I can get to the last castle, but I always die inside it. I must have played it a thousand times trying to beat it, and then one time my friend comes over and beats it no problem. All while making fun of me, what you can't beat this? Haha, so no you're not alone.

aaaaah i almost beat it...i was at the last lvl but i couldn't pass it :(

nope i have never beat it without using the warp zone. I guess that still counts as beating it but dont feel that is truly beating it. It would definently be more rewarding to beat it properly. Its really hard with just 3 lives. i think im going to print out a location of the 1ups lol
