do you ever ride a horse?

I love riding horses! I don't get to do it as much as I would like but the times I have I really enjoyed it. I have had mostly good experiences but there was once I rode a horse that was not so well trained. She really gave me a ride! I didn't come off of her though although there were a couple of times I thought I would.

The last time I went horse riding I was with friends and we were all riding in a single file and I was at the end. Aside from the fact that my horse did whatever he wanted to do whenever he wanted to do it such as breaking into a fast gallop ever now and again without warning which caused me to run straight into bushes and trees branches. I did enjoy myself though and wondered why when we arrived back at the stable everyone laughed when they saw me arrive. All they could say was; "Go look in the mirror!" Upon glancing at my reflection in the ladies toilet all I could see was a muddy black face with big white eyes where my sunglasses had been! That's what can happen when you are at the very back of the line and take on all the dust the horses in front kick back. All in all a strangely fun experience!

No I never rode a house before, I just like to Bet on them, I am a Horse-racing Fan.

I started riding a couple of months before my 10th birthday. I rode all the way thru high school and then into college, including teaching riding my final half of my last semester of college. I ride English, and jumped, I rode what is called "hunt seat" rather than "jump seat" if that means anything to you. I then rode for a bit for a year in the 1980's. I will not say I was ever a really good rider, but I did know WHAT I was doing wrong and the people I taught thought I had eyes in the back of my head!

Hey there! It's always been a dream to me when I was a child. But sad to say that dream hasn't been fulfilled. As a child I was always amaze with horses. I really want to have one then. wow! thats my dream ever to ride a horse, but now no more, because im afraid he will kick my a**. LOL

I grew up on a horses back, I used to ride all the time..except for the past couple of years I havnt, only a couple of times.

I have never ridden a horse till date. But I would definitely love to. However it might seem to be easy when we see someone riding them buy actually it isn't. When they start running one bounces a lot. Also taking into consideration their height is quite a bit. My friend once fell from a horses back when it was walking and fractured her hand. From that day onwards she never sat on a horse again Lolzzz....

I have tried to ride a horse, but that was many years ago. I was about 10 years old when I rode a horse for the first time. My grandmother and I went to visit some of her friends who lived in the countryside and they had horses. Her friends asked me if I wanted to ride one of their horses, I was scared and curious at the same time and I decided to try it. It was not a very pleasant experience, I was scared and I didn't really enjoy it. Some years later I was visiting some friends who also had horses and I got the chance to try it again. That time I felt more confident and I enjoyed it a lot more than the first time.
