Compassion is understanding and caring when someone is hurt or troubled, or has made a mistake. It is caring about others even If we don't know them. It is wanting to help, even If we all can do is listen and say kind words. We are a friend when someone needs a friend. It's very important to show compassion to others and even to ourselves. Can you share to me, for your own reason(s)...What are your own ways of being compassionate?

Among the qualities of a compassionate man you described the greatest quality which I liked is the man who is caring when some one makes mistakes and who is forgiving. This has become of late a rare quality.

Hi butterfly, Welcome to myLoy, I hope that you will be here a long time and enjoy your stay,as well as make friends and money. Now to your discussion, I totally agree with you, the world would be a much better place if more people would show compassion. We show compassion every time we help another, when we visit a shut in or senior who has no company or whose family rarely visit. It is the same who we give food to a hungry person or arrange shelter for a homeless person. Blessings.
