Early dawn I was awaken by a very painful feeling in my stomach that I literally throw what I have eaten the night before. Every thirty minutes I went to the rest room and afterwards I was so weak that I don't want to take anything.
What do you do if this happens to you ? Any advices ?

Hi torch~First I would think about what I had eaten last
night! The I would consider if maybe that was the problem?
Was it the food, could there have been something wrong with
it? The if that isn't the case the maybe it is just as nasty
stomach virus that comes on fast and may be gone in 24 hours!
Hopefully that is all that it is! You may have to just stay
at home, near the bathroom and rest and let it run it's course!
I know that doesn't sound like much fun, but you have to find
out what it is coming from! Just take it easy and wait and
see if it goe away by itself! And feel better torch!

The first thing that came to me, I asked myself.."What I have eaten ?", can't figure out what really was, perhaps its the liquid intake I have taken, sometime yesterday, a friend offered me a juice which kinda strange taste to me, is a combination of melon and some pineapple something which my stomach might have a "shock" in taking it, boy, I hope this wouldn't be amoebic !

Was that 'strange' drink very cold too? Drinking something very cold can sometimes cause congestion. It just blocks your digestive system and until you 'get it out of your system' it will cause problems.
Be careful when drinking ice-cold drinks. I avoid them completely.

Oh its hard to suffer this pain at early dawn. I know what you were talking about as I also have had this kind of experience before. Well, when this happened to me, all I did was to immediately put hot pack on my stomach and then I asked my husband to give me hand and foot massage (reflexology) with concentration of the middle part of my palm and foot. Well that worked for me and soon after I was able to go back to sleep.

I haven't tried that though, neither of us are good at massage thing. A hot soup works though.

It almost sounds like you have food poisoning. In order to settle your stomach you should drink ginger ale but only take very small sips at a time. Do not try to eat anything as that will likely make you more sick. Get as much sleep as you possibly can and if the sickness persists throughout the day you need to go to the doctor. They will likely give you anti-nausea medication and you should feel alot better afterwards. Get better soon!

I am not happy reading that you are feeling ill I hope by now you are feeling at least a little better.
Reading through your responses I feel it is something you either ate or drank that upset you. Maybe it was something too cold?
If you stick to liquids now until you are feeling better and then just eat something like dried toast, boiled potatoes or rice until you are back in form again you should be fine as I think this is just an isolated incident and not a receurring thing for you.
I do hope you feel better soon!

I am SOOO pleased to see you are feeling better
Good to know (in a way) that it was caused by that cold drink and not some bug or even something worse.
Please take care in future as drinking cold drinks can be VERY dangerous. It's like taking a glass plate from the oven and setting it ona cold surface - it explodes! All's well that ends well!

I have consulted a doctor already but it takes a couple of hours yet before I was able to get to a doctor's clinic, I'm a bit lucky since there was less appointment on his part. Yes, it was confirmed that that cold thing which I have taken was the cause of my bad condition yesterday morning, I am fine now, thanking my doctor's medicine and for the recommendations and advices of some friends like yourself, I am very much grateful.

there is not much u can do. if it keeps up u need to see a dr. drinking sprite, ginger ale & even tea will help settle your stomach. u need to eat light if u decide u can eat something. i always think everybody has got to eat chicken soup. my grandmother thought that was a cure-all for anything that was bothering u.

In that case, I start out by drinking clear fluids, like tea, or clear pop. As I get to feeling better I will eat rice, and bananas. I hope you get to feeling better soon.

I thought you are pregnant for expereincing a morning
sickness, First, you need to think what you have eaten the night
before then, drink a cold water, then, you must see a doctor.
If you are having a diarrhea the danger of dehydrating yourself
is important.

Well, are pregnant?? I haven't experienced being pregnant before but sometimes I sometimes felt a morning sick especially if I haven't eaten my dinner last night or I have my monthly period.. It seems that all of my strength had gone and then my body becomes weaker and weaker if I'll try to make some move and force some strength.. When I have my period most of the time I just stay in bed and go to sleep since I don't have an energy to stand and I can't take the pain in my stomach.. I can't do anything if I have my period even though I want too..

Hrm, well when that was happening to me, throwing up when I could set the clock to it (every 20 minutes for me), it indicated that my liver couldn't take all the medicine that was in my system so it was flushing it out.
Are you on medication? be it flu, cold, cough medicine, if you take multiple medicines at the same time, their common ingredient is NOT good for you, when taken in large amounts, especially if you end up over dosing yourself with it.
This didn't become public knowledge until a few years ago it was reported on the news that the reason everyone was being sent to the hospital during the fever season, is because they would just keep taking all different forms of medicine at the same time, just to alleviate the effects of being sick.
Well these all had a common ingredient and that was ibu profein(no idea if that is spelled correct), aka the most common pain reliever.
When this was happening to me, I didn't eat anything, and just let my body run its course, as well as sleep.
If this is still happening to you for 2 days, then yeah, go to the doctor. Because after 2 days, and if you're still throwing up, or drive heaving, which is most likely the case, OR vomiting just the bile up, then you need to see a doctor.
Good luck, and hope you're feeling better soon!

You probably have food poisoning. That happened to my brother a while back and he couldn't eat anything for the whole day! He threw up everything that he ate and I am not sure if he was even taking any medicine to make it better. You should be better in a couple of days. I would go to the doctor, though.

Oh I am sorry to hear that. Hope it isn't food poisoning. When I feel ill like this I will take Tums or Rolaids to help coat my stomach or Pepto Bismo is there is any. I sincerely hope that you will be feeling alot better and that you get some good suggestions to try that will ease that sick feeling...

All I know is that you must not be online at this situation. Take rest and take medicines prescribed by your physician. I am no doctor so, I can't tell you which medicine you should take but I can give you one suggestion that do take lemon water with a little salt in it because body looses salt with every vomiting!
Hope you will get well soon! pal
