how do i change my MYLOT username..?
could i have more than one MYLOT accounts..?

Familiarize yourself on the FAQs and guideline in the bottom of this page, let me quote your inquiry. To quote, It says:
[b]* myLot does not allow users to change their usernames. Please be sure when you create your account that the username you pick is one that you want.
* Be careful not to make your username similar to your email address or password for security reasons.
[/b]
It is clear you couldnt change your current username, I think it is prohibited also to create multiple accounts in mylot.

hi, thanks for the reply, I've read the FAQ, it's all there in the DO's and DONT's in MYLOT, I've got another question, above the user name is a star with a number in it, what does that mean?..(i know the number enclosed in parenthesis would be the number of times you have replied, right?

yes it is the number of responses you made to someone else discussion, the responses you have to your own discussions is not counted.
