I was watching them, it was a black movie...it was quite old movie, it seems. Look at Whoopi Glodberg, wow she looked so young and strong. Oprah Winfrey...she looked older than i thought... Well about the movie, it took my in the ai, so beautiful and overwhelming. iwa totally in the awe of the black people... People , have you see it, tell me about your thoughts regaring the movie

The book and movie are definately a classic piece of literature that will probably remain so for the years go come. I can't begin to say enough about the struggles presented in it, the reality of the American condition at the time, and pride of a people willing to overcome. It was by far one of Whoopie's best movies, and Oprah's. Each time I see it I cry, laugh, become angry, and experience the gambit of emotions. I think for me it quite an impact because I was living in the South when I first saw it. They still have entire communities that nothing but old one room houses, no indoor plumbing, that people still live in. It breaks my heart that we still have this today. I keep hoping stars that are from the South will give more back, but I suppose once you leave a place sometimes you never look back. Namaste-Anora
