How does it feel when your parents tell you that they don't have money for your enrollment? but they have money to spend on their business? what will you do?
I was honestly hurt because they will not give me money for my tuition fee. They always tell me that they're already tired of working their whole life for us, their children.
I was really hurt because they have the money to give their grandchildren but they don't have money for my tuition fee. I was really disappointed because they're not giving me enough allowance also. The allowance that they're giving me is only enough for my one week fare. maybe if they give me enough allowance, i would be able to save for my own tuition fee.
I planned to work this summer and not enroll because of the fact that i don't have any money. but i thought of borrowing money from my best friend/boyfriend so that i can enroll. and he did lend me some money.
but after that, i felt shy towards him because he always let me borrow money when i need it. i felt shy because he takes good care of me more than my family could ever do.

Parents have the obligation to send their children to school. It is a pity for the child if his parents have no interest in sending him to school. You should try to work so you can send yourself to school. Don't rely on your boyfriend for you might regret later.

how old are you now?maybe your parents just try to let you be independent and make you stonger for yourself.but if they really don't want to pay your tuition but have money on their business,I guess you will be really upset about that.anyway try to figure out someway and finish your study

I guess I'm not understanding. I moved out of my parents house when I was 18. Worked a full time job, paid my own rent and put myself through school. I didn't expect them to pay for my education because they had done their job. They raised me. I was an adult and didn't feel they owed me an education too.
Maybe out cultures are different, but even with my own children. I provide for them, food, clothing and a roof over their head. There isn't anything wrong with them having job while they were in high school as long as they kept their grades up and still did their chorse at home.
I do understand where your parents are coming from though. They said they are tired of working their whole life for their children. Honestly, you're an adult now so what they work for should be for them. They've earned it.
