DO you cry

April 7, 2009 9:13am CST
at movies? I tend to avoid a movie if I know it's gonna make me cry, theres enough to be depressed about in this world! But the only 4 films I have ever cried at are Forest Gump, the green mile, a time to kill and John Q. I'm more of an action movie type myself, or even a sci fi on occasions,I also love a good horror. give me heroes or die had with a vengance over the notebook or any of that cr@p any day! DO you watch soppy sad films and do they make you cry?

I sometimes cry in a movie when it is really pathetic, especially when the lead role is being humiliated.

I usually avoid movies that I know are going to make me cry too. My favorite movies are comedies. Give me good slapstick any day of the week, if my sides hurt from laughing to me it's money well spent. A Fish Called Wanda, Groundhog Day and any of the Pink Panther films are some of my favorites. I also like action adventure like the Indiana Jones films and suspense. Occasionally fantasy, horror or sci fi, and once in a blue moon, musicals. The types of movies where people are gathering to talk and rehash their pasts drive me crazy. I get enough of that at home.

I hear that! Groundhog day is great, dirty rotten scoundrels is cool too, have you ever seen nuns on the run?

Nuns on the Run was terrific and Eric Idle was (as always) brilliant in that. The Sister Act movies and Jumpin Jack Flash with Whoopie Goldberg were funny too. Have you seen those?

Hi friend,Yes I do cry while watching some pathetic stories. But crying also depends on our attitude and mood at that time of watching movies. When we are in depression and watching a movie even a slight pathetic scenes make us cry. Those who are very sensitive cry very easily for a pathetic story.thanks for sharing.happy mylotting.

Sometimes the movies will make me cry. Some movies are really moving in the plot. I just cann't help crying in some cases. Anyway, crying is good to our health according to the doctor. So it is good for us to cry from time to time. I actually am an action movie fan. I also love to watch cartoon movies. For example Kongfu Panda.

thats fair enough, I like cartoons too, I loved madagascar!

Crying??... It is very reasonable when we see the movie as sentimental. That is one of the expressions that we dont think but it's very interesting in our heart. All sensitive people will certainly also do the same. Thank you for sharing opinion...

yeah it is reasonable, i just dont like crying.

No I don't get emotional at stuff that doesn't affect me. So films won't actually affect me, because there not real, and if they are I haven't lost anything from it, so i don't find it something i have to cry at.

I do cry but it's embarrassing every time that's happen! So every time I am verge of tears, I will divert my attention to something else for a while.

I have watched Movies that have made me Cry, and there is nothing wrong with watching these type and being emotional for sure. This just tends to show that we are human. I know that since I prefer a lot of different types of movies, if it is good enough to make you Cry most of the time it has a story line to it as well.

i LOVE romantic comedy kind of movies with a touch of drama... ^_^ I prefer a little conservative kinds where you can feel the romance without the characters making love neither kissing... hehhe These kinds of movies never fails to make me cry

Yes, I cry as it is natural. Some of the feelings are so sensational that helps to cry. If you cry you can relieve yourself and your mind will be free.
