go to psp i really like to play my psp .... if you are going to buy a psp upgrade it in a custom firmware 5.00 m-33 so that you can play sunday vs magazine hahah .. i really like it Inuyasha vs Ippo Makunochi ^^

You might still be able to purchase that model from people who are now selling their k750i. Second hand would be more affordable and you just have to be good at looking if they are still worth buying or not anymore. At any rate, if you have the money to buy a new phone, why not? For a PSP, aside from those multimedia features, the only communication that you could to with it would be on Skype but, it is only available on PSP 2000 and PSP 3000. The one that you are contacting should also be using Skype so that it would be free. There are charges if you call them through their mobie or land line phones. If your into gaming and not much into keeping in touch with those that you know, go for the PSP.. still, I think a good phone should always be around.

how can a PSP be a replacement for a cell phone? if you need a cell phone go for the cell phone. if you don't need a cell but want to play games, buy a PSP

If you need a cellphone and you don't mind having a cheap one then go buy yourself a second hand phone that is good enough for SMS and calls - that should at least cover your basic necessities on communication, then go right ahead and buy a PSP :) Thanks for the response on my discussion!

Since you lost your cell phone, why not go for another new one...I mean why consider a PSP when you don't have a phone? Then how are you gonna contact your friends and families and how are they gonna contact you instead in cases of emergencies? Besides, you'll get tired of the PSP eventually after owning it...Take it from someone who had it for 4 years straight and still having it. ^_^ I've played tons of games i get easily bored of, music that i don't need to put in because i own an ipod too, and videos i could easily watch on my lappy. hahah, so it's pretty much useless to me now..My bro uses it most of the time. ^_^
