Do you write to make money?

I am really getting into article writing to make money online. It seems to me that it pays far better than other online earning opportunities, so far I can't complain. I have a contact and he provides me subjects to write on and I get to it. Sometimes it's easy, other times it's not. If it's a subject I know and love, I have no problem writing the article, but if it's something I don't know or don't like, I suffer from severe writers block. I'm waiting on a few more assignments, and just got a temporary volunteer position as a writer on a PTc site. It will become a paid position at a later date, but I like the site so much that I'm willing to write for free for the time being. I can supplement with the other writing I get. My pricing is competitive when I search out for new sources to write for, I actually go with what my current source pays me, so there are no arguments with anyone who wants me to write for them. I'm a fast writer, can work within a deadline for the most part, but sometimes things do come up and the deadline can't always be met. However, writing is a good source of income if you can find the right clients and good paying gigs. Do you write for a living? Do you like to do so? How many do you write in a day?
