My pomeranian is extremelly attached to me and a not so much to my husband, is it because they are girl dogs??? (thats what my husband says!) is it a treat of the breed or is mine just spoled? IM trying to remove that but it doesnt seem to work, he cries when i come so that i pet him and i dont pay attention to him until he calms down but that doesnt seem to be doing the trick, any suggestions?

Mine is extreely attached, as anywhere I go in the house she is right there behind me. I have the standard pom so mine is bigger thsn the normal ones and mine has a fox face. I just love her tail the way it curls around her back. I guess because I live alone, my dogs want to be where I am. It does get kind of annoying though, I am afraid I will step on their paws. I have done that a few times because they get behind me and I don't look to see where they are before I step back. I don't know what I would do if anything happened to either one of them as I love them both and I don't have anyone to share them with so no problem there.

The same thing happens to me with the paws! specially when im in the kitchen, since that is my pom's favorite place to be . And mine is kinda small and fragile so stepping on his paws is a big deal to me! i feel sorry and angry at the same time when i do, because is like i wish he would understand that is not a good place to be right next to my feet. but whatcha gonna do?
