I think the cell phone market in the states is already saturated. Majority of us have one or two cell phones. Now, the cell phone company probably need to look for foreign market, or the elementary or pre - school markets to target the next million customers. What is the new for this mobile phone technology?
An article mentioned that a barcode with a cell phone. For instance, if you visit a restaurant, you simply swipe the barcode, you get all the reviews on that restaurant you need to know. Another example, barcode can let you listen to a sample song; if you like it, you simply click a button to purchase that song. I think the cell phone company will love to have these features; because they can sell them to their customers.

Hey,
I actually think that most people should start to put PROPER GPS built into the phones. Their are so many phones these days, that don't have proper GPS, like most Nokia phones, which use Nokia maps. It is practically useless! Make sure you have a good day, Happy Lotting!!

I think the US cell phone market needs to adopt the policy that the global cell phone market has and stop charging their customers for incoming calls.
When I have vodaphone, I no one charged me for an incoming call. That's how it should be, but in the States, you're nickled and dimed for every feature.
