i was at a parlor last week. i had a haor cut and while i was waiting for my turn i was reading a article in the magazine where a daugtehr has a project at school. she needs to test this behavior to her mom, if her mom can last a week without a mirror. it wasa struggle for the mom for she is working too. she needs to put powder, a little color on her face and lipstick too. like all supportive moms she gave way and did the experiment for her daugther. it turned out that she can last for a week without mirror but it was a great and hard adjutment for her. how about you?

I only used mirror twice a day for almost 36 years, first is before i go to work and 2nd before i go to sleep. I dont have mirror in my bag, i actually don't have my own mirror... I was actually thinking about it if a day passed without checking myself in the mirror. Most especially now that i have brace, so every time i eat something, i have to check myself in the mirror. i have to make sure that i don't have food or something in my brace.

yes you really need a mirror to check if there is something hanging on your teeth, that is understandable. i didnt have brace but a lot of my friends did and they really check their teeth always specially after eating. thanks a lot for the response

I am confident that I could do it. I rarely look into a mirror unless I have to anyway. I don't wear make-up, so I don't have that to worry about, I don't do anything to my hair that requires a mirror either, and I try to avoid any mirror that shows more than just my face.

I don't know if i can... i have never tried this one before... although there was a certain point in my life when i had no mirror in my apartment... but i can always check my face when i am at work because we have a big mirror there... it would be very difficult to resist looking at a mirror since that is like second nature for us humans...

yes i think it is natural to people to look at the mirror once they saw one, it is instinct to make sure we look ood or clean or pleasing. we also look at the mirrors without knowing that we are looking lol. so i guess i can agree to you that this is no easy. thanks for the response and sorry for the late comment.

No way, I couldn't last a week without a mirror unless I was out of work for that week. Going into the office without at least a little powder and mascara on and my hair neatly done isn't really acceptable for my work, and without a mirror, I would be worried all day about how I looked. It sounds like the woman in the article is quite brave!

yes i agree with you that this woman in this article is quite brave, and i can also say that she is a wonderful mom as well. supported her child's project at school. if this happened to me and my daugther i know this will not be as easy as she expect but i will support her as well. thanks for the response and happy easter

i guess it is easy for a guy to do this for mosy of guys have short hairs. most of guys look only in the mirror if they are coming their hair and brushing their teeth. maybe that is also the reason why the article is a daugther approaching her mom for women are the one who loves mirrors. lol. we women look at the mirror like breathing . thanks for the response and happy easter

hi prinz i know also a lot of people who can not live without mirrors, so i think it is a case to case basis and it all depends on the personality of a person. if a person is vain then i think they can not live without mirrors. my son can not live without mirrors that is what i observe. lol. thanks a lot for the response

Hi Roni, I guess if it was for a task for my daughter I would do my best to go without a mirror, as it is most days I don't put make up on so that part would be easier..but I would have a go at that even though it would be a hard adjustment...littleowl

that is very sweet, but that is true as well. we mothers will support our children no matter if it is hard to do. i will also try not to look on the mirrors for a week and let her observe slowly that mama is turning into a freak already. lol. this is not really easy for me for i am a singer and i really need to look at the mirror to do my make-up. but as i tiold you little i will be supportive like you on this. thanks for the response and happy easter.

that is easy for me. i am not a mirror person. my hair is wash and wear and my wife is the one deciding for me what to wear. i dont come my hair for i have very very very short hair that does not need any combing and thats it. i will not just last for a week but i can last a lifetime without a mirror. thats how self confidence is what for me har har har

That's sounds kind of money. I hope to try it some day as an exprience. I'm sure that I will look funny after that week, but I will enjoy it for sure.

I already memorize my face so I think I can last a week without mirror. I can even put my contact lens with no need of a mirror. I can put my powder and some color on my face without looking in the mirror, so maybe I wont go gaga if i will not use a mirror for a week. I will try this or let my husabnd try it. hahaha. I wonder if he can last a week.

you know i really don't think i can even go a day without using a mirror at all. i always use a mirror when i get out of the shower or when i am brushing my teeth or hair in the morning. i would really like to see any girl go one full day at least without using a mirror for anything, they are the ones that would have the most trouble not using a mirror. To us guys we could prolably do it. we would just have to think bout not using it is all. lol
